I wasn't at all sure when I spotted these on Ebay; it was just the pose that made me suspect that these five figures were by Ros. Sure enough, once I had removed the card base the details could be made out: F15 and the name Ros. One clearly has a date stamp of 1976.
Now, this is the first time that I have seen these figures and up until today I doubted that they were produced, even though they did appear in the
Ros listings. It now gives me hope that many more of these elusive
figures were indeed produced and are waiting somewhere to be found.
Very nice and very well spotted. What a wonderful find.

ReplyDeleteNow that is an impressive find - never seen such a thing before - brilliantly spotted.
ReplyDeletePossible heads-up - don't know, but are these Ros 25mm Russians?

I took a look; yes I think that they are Russians, but I don't think that they are by Ros. Infantry figures tend to lean forward more and the command figures don't look right. The bases are not typical Ros nor does the writing on the underside match other examples. Thus; I believe there are not Ros - more's the pity. I am not sure who manufactured these though. Thanks so much for the tip off. Bob
DeleteI bought these figures as they went for only £3 - but guess what; they are tiny 15mm jobs - doh!!
